Snowflake
Warehouses that never suspend, tasks that always fail, credits by warehouse.
Why connect it
The warehouse bill is credits × time, and time is what nobody watches: a warehouse without auto-suspend, an XL serving 200-row queries, a task that has failed every run since June. ACCOUNT_USAGE has all of it; GitDoctor reads it and names the line.
What you'll see
- Every warehouse with size, auto-suspend, credits over 30 days, and queries over 7 days
- Every task with schedule, 7-day runs, failures, and the last error
- Cortex / AI services credits — the model bill inside the warehouse bill
- Flags: no auto-suspend, slow suspend, idle burn, oversized
What the credential can and cannot do
Where to get it: Snowsight → your user → Programmatic access tokens. Account identifier is the part before .snowflakecomputing.com. A role with IMPORTED PRIVILEGES on the SNOWFLAKE database reads ACCOUNT_USAGE; without it you get warehouses and tasks but not credits.
It grants: Whatever the role can do. GitDoctor runs only SHOW and SELECT.
It cannot: GitDoctor never alters, suspends, or resizes anything. Setting auto-suspend is one ALTER shown with its undo.
Whatever you connect lives in an encrypted cookie in your browser and nowhere else. Sign out and it's gone; revoke it at the provider and it stops working immediately.
