Databricks
Jobs, clusters without auto-termination, SQL warehouses, DBU by cluster.
Why connect it
Scheduled jobs are loops; all-purpose clusters without auto-termination are the classic idle burn; system.billing.usage says what each one cost. Model serving shows up there too.
What you'll see
- Every scheduled job with 7-day runs, failures, and the last error
- Every cluster and SQL warehouse with auto-termination / auto-stop
- DBU per cluster and SKU over 30 days when a SQL warehouse id is given
- Flags: no auto-termination, slow termination, model-serving spend
What the credential can and cannot do
Where to get it: Workspace → Settings → Developer → Access tokens. Host is your workspace URL. A SQL warehouse id lets GitDoctor query system.billing.usage.
It grants: Whatever your user can do; GitDoctor only lists and reads.
It cannot: GitDoctor never starts, stops, or edits clusters or jobs.
Whatever you connect lives in an encrypted cookie in your browser and nowhere else. Sign out and it's gone; revoke it at the provider and it stops working immediately.
