What the credential can and cannot do
Where to get it: Claude Console → Settings → Admin keys (organization accounts; admin role). Starts with sk-ant-admin01-.
It grants: Read on usage, cost, keys, and workspaces.
It cannot: Cannot send messages or call any model. A regular API key is rejected here because it cannot read usage.
Whatever you connect lives in an encrypted cookie in your browser and nowhere else. Sign out and it's gone; revoke it at the provider and it stops working immediately.
